Did they ever make one?

I will say, these are the most beautiful headsets ever made - they look much better in person.

Wow, $500. And to think I sold one a few years back for something under $100.

Yes they did apparently. There’s quite a few paceliners that have them. And that one guy on ebay that’s selling a full ck ti headset for $1.5k lol

The headset is the least important bearing set on a bike.
I guess I’m just not a player in this game.

But great find for those that dig these!

They are gorgeous. Totally unnecessary, but stunning nonetheless

I paid $400.00 for a brand new Guerciotti SLX frame and fork in the 80s, with a Campy SR headset, installed. There seems to be two or three American based component/accessories sellers that are overly impressed with their products based on prices they ask. What's worse, and I'm not accusing King of it, some of the companies don't actually make the stuff they sell. They get it from someplace else on the cheap and then charge BANK for it.

That'll do it for me, the clouds I just screamed at moved out of sight

One of the lucky ones, a ti king headset came on my moots. The person I bought it from was all about the best of everything and so there it was.

It has functioned just as well as as the ally versions on my other bikes. For a 20 year old part, it works and is something I never think about. Paying $500 for one, no thanks.

The idea of a ti topcap is intriguing, would finish off the ti stem look, but then I'd have to also get ti spacers.
