It's new. Something I have known about for a couple weeks. But it was just listed today.

Also, there is another company, a US one who is getting things lined up for a sale. That one, no news as to the closing date but they are cleaning things up and people are already looking for other jobs.

I have been told no. That they are going to sell it complete. They are cleaning things up and setting it up for just the core business to continue. I know a company who is getting applications from some employees there. I had not heard the exact time yet. But I know things are starting. I will post more when I know. People will be surprised tho. It's a solid company and has a huge and devoted following. But it's what happens when owners get older and want to retire.

The Merckx thing, they have had issues for years and the US while it grew, it didn't enough. And dealers overseas were discounting like crazy. Even on new product. It was effecting US dealers. Hence the level to slight growth. I know couple Merckx dealers who were pissed by the discounting.
