Flecha

Juan Antonio Flecha breaks hand;

The rumor is that the accident was actually a punch up with a motorist when out on a training ride. If true he's instantly become my second favorite pro cyclist after Fab.

The archer victory salute has always been my favorite. I love the way he rides, not afraid to take a flyer and let it all hang out...plus a Spanish rider for the Classics...those are few and far between.

one of my favs. Other than Zurich, he never had that big win but always came so damned close. That, his exuberance, and the arrow-man salute make him a winner.

Almost as good as Wladimir Belli getting thrown out of the '01 Giro for punching Gilberto Simoni's nephew in the face.

lol,thats pretty funny "a training accident" if that rumor is true..maybe if he was boxer..

i remember seeing that,regarding Belli,i always felt he got an unfair punishment of race expulsion after watching the tv coverage. that Simoni Hooligan bunch was a real menace.some of those idiots deserved a punch in the face
