I've got a 2010 CAAD 9 and 2011? Supersix that I bought affordably frame only from Paceliners. (Thanks!)

The CAAD 9 was so good, and not at all what I expected. (Not super stiff in any way-and shockingly comfortable for me.) I loved the fit and handling. Great bike.

Of course, that had me wondering-would a SuperSix with the same geo be better? When I saw one for sale here I could not resist.

I think the SS may be peak rim brake race bike (for me). There is certainly a bit of nostalgia in it, but I can hop on this bike after 4 months of riding a MTB in the snow and it just feels right in a way that I can't really understand or explain. It was inexpensive enough that I do some fairly silly things on it. Watching mud extrude from the narrow gap between tire and rim has been soothing.
