PSA: if you like the functionality of the expensivo A.C. mount, this ebay one i picked up is a great alternative. was about $12 shipped.
Wife surprised me with the 800 for father's day, though I did cleverly drop a few hints. now I just have to figure out how to use it.
Side note/rant: it's total BS that I can buy a $100 car windshield GPS with a full complement of US maps loaded, but this high dollar unit comes with bare bones maps, and they want me to buy maps from them, that's a little insulting IMO.
