Got the Chorus 12 group today. Everything comes in white boxes, with all of the expected info from Campy. Most parts are made in Italy, except the 11-34 cassette and FD that come from Romania and the brakes come from Taiwan.
Every part looks great. The largest 3 cogs are attached to each other differently than any Campy cassette I've every owned. The cogs are all a dull silver that looks like hard chrome, but who knows what it is. Does not look like zinc plating.
The new ergo levers are better than expected. The shiny black coating looks sharp. You'd never expect that the levers are aluminum. The thumb button is shaped differently than the 2018 levers that I have and so is the top of the brake hood. Reach looks to be the same.
