As the long time owner of one of the weird early disc brake QR / 135mm rear wheel Crux CX frames, its totally fine. I keep looking for reasons to upgrade this 2015 frame and come up empty. Thru axles are a great convenience for taking wheels on and off but thats about it and not enough of a threshold to upgrade.

Ah ha, but now you need to finish the other side of this equation.

By not buying the $600 enve fork that you were previously convinced that you needed you can now spend $600 or less on a different bike part and it doesnt impact your bike budget.
