Actually, when I listen to SRV, I hear a guy who borrowed from and paid a nod to Albert King and Jimi, but who has clearly transcended the influence of these guys. When I hear Chuck Berry, all I seem to hear is T-Bone, or at least it is so pervasive in almost every song.
