I am definitely no expert on the transition from 10-S to 11-S, etc., so I would recommend that you ask oldpotatoe that question specifically. If your rd is pre-2010, doesn't have the converter, and you have been running a 12-29 cassette since 2009 or even earlier with no issues...it seems that you are OK. If your rd is post-2010 it seems you are definitely OK.

Also, as you know, oldpotatoe is an amazing Campa-resource, and he frequently states (correctly) that the Campa-published restrictions re: cassettes/rds/fds are often very conservative, so he may even say that this converter is pretty superfluous.
