At some point in time Suntour used their own taper for their Superbe Pro cranks. Sheldon Brown remarks on this somewhere on his
Suntour page. I recently tried 8 different ISO and JIS bottom brackets on one of these NOS cranksets until I finally capitulated and installed a Superbe Pro bottom-bracket.
