I’d hate to have someone in front of me on a ride lose one. Plastic bottles are enough of a nuisance when they are dropped in front of you.

I don’t see the point. It’s one thing to keep a stainless or Ti insulated bottle on my desk at work — I have a couple Yeti tumblers in my office. But on my bike, I generally want something that’s I won’t feel awful about losing. I like the regular insulated Camelback bottles. But even they are expensive. They are dishwasher safe, so I can sanitize them and use them for a long time before discarding them.
