Wish I could find the sports med journal article I read, but they actually put a lot of credence in skinfold measurements -- but they used the raw data (sum of measurements) as a trending indicator vs translating that to a BF%. In an article along the same vein, they compared the InBody scanning technology to Dexa, and it came out quite favorably. InBody is more available than Dexa, and in my location dirt cheap.
