I'd love to go back . . .
. . . in the fall. The only drawback I found was the lack of vista viewpoints at the tops of the climbs.

I love to ride Michaux State Forest. I am 30 mins from the Mt Holly side and a hour from the middle/southern end. That has to be some of the best gravel riding in my area. I sons back yard is Michaux State Forest and he rides all the sketchy Mt bike areas with a group of old heads.
If anyone is looking for some of the best IMHO gravel on the east coast you owe it to your self to check out some of the routes around Michaux State Forest.
