The frame is aluminum but the wheels and fork are carbon. With the tubeless Schwalbe the ride is very smooth. It is neat that one can choose from a 27 28 or 29 tire for this bike. I can't wait to try a larger off-road tire and a smaller road slick tire. Really enjoying this bike.
