Yep same results. I was very loyal to Smartwool they just haven't held up at all. My wife bought me some of the IBIS labeled Swiftwick merino wool shocks for a birthday present they have held up twice as long as Smartwool and I love them. I am wearing a pair right now.
I will never buy Smartwool socks so long as I can get Swiftwick.
