Once upon a time, I found a 110mm adaptor on ebay for that gen XTR and bought it so I could swap back and forth between 'cross gearing' and 'road gearing.' In that pic the 50t ring was installed. In the fall, a 44t or 46t ring goes on in its place and the CXHairs becomes the 'B bike' to my Full Tilt Boogie.
