I would go praxis.

If I were building a road logic:
2015+ chorus shifters/derailleurs
Turn praxis cranks
Ee brakes
Thomson post/stem
Deda shallow bars
Zonda wheels
Record level skewers
Clement strada 28s

I've got 2015+ Record shifters and derailleur (I will pluralize derailleur in the future).
I've got KCNC brakes, that are pretty nice.
Belgiums to White Industries T11
Paul Skewers
28mm somethin for tires
I'll probably Ritchey out the cockpit eventually, I really love their EvoCurve stuff. (for the moment I'll run my Cannondale bars and stems [de-badged] since they're decent and I have them)

Sounds proper to me.

Find an old Ritchey Logic crank and run a 1x + bash guard.

kramnnim 06-08-2016 10:50 PM

Those Turn cranks are quite portly...

Haha.

Yes, the praxis cranks are on the heavy side but they test quite stiff, the rings shift great, and they look nice. The weight seems like a reasonable trade off to me.

MaraudingWalrus 06-09-2016 12:52 PM

Praxis cranks on the way.

Likely a SR front derailleur on the way, too. What's the cool kid fd clamp these days?

That's what I was thinking.

Frame should be in anyday.
Cranks & BB by Thursday.
Ritchey Evo Curve bar.

Small pile of parts is amassing for the build. Rep is bringing the frame by next week. Patience..another weekend of riding my crappy Macaframa or GT Grade..I may break out the belt drive bike for the Sunday ride..
