It's very interesting. I guess Ben's reputation and the thought of limited supply must get the checkbooks out, but I sure would like to see more than 2 little pics for that kind of dough.

Wow....

I'm guessing this is probably a side gig or passion project for him to pick up the torch.

On a side note...Delmar, New York - I used to live there briefly...loved the surround areas of upstate NY.

sorry, gonna have to pass on those offerings.

simply not inspirational enough to justify the prices.

I could have ordered everything needed from Nova Cycle Supply right then and there and built a pretty road bike with the same materials that hundreds of other builders use. That’s more or less how I started in 1972. But I left that path long ago, there’s just no excitement or gratification in doing something that’s just the same, so over the last twelve months I’ve worked as before with Columbus of Italy and with my favorite Solidworks wizard, Jay Clark, to update and upgrade new proprietary tubing, develop three new sets of dropouts and even a proper carbon fork for disc brakes.

I love Ben's bikes-I own two-and I'm sure I would love this too but, no Campy!!! I'm out. And I do wish him all the luck in the world- a great guy.

 indeed.

10k for a ftw tig welded and 13k for Ben built steel is way above my pay grade, but I'm sure they are fantastic bikes. I am a bit shocked by the price. Great collaboration of highly skilled craftsmen, but damn!

Going to have to be a no from me.

Don't like the name, sounds too much like this.

I love Serotta. The excellence the legacy the people. I loved my KB fabricated go-fast KGSN ottrott.

BUT

Ben is out of touch. Sure, this is a side project for him and not described as an ongoing endeavor. BUT, what he is offering has no articulated differentiation other than his hand on the torch, and with the demise of the company years ago my guess is that no one under 55yo gives a rats a$$ about BSB.

I;m not saying he isn't building a "better bike than FF (for example) but he hasn't articulated the differences, and speaks about discs etc like he just woke up to the market reality.

~ $13k complete? plenty of other choices for less. He has fallen into the same marketing trap that accelerated the demise of the brand...no idea how to speak up for himself and no idea how to make the bike aspirational.

At least he proclaimed no more dentist bikes. should have done that years ago.
