Compass Bon Jon 700x35 Tubeless Goo Lifespan

FYI.. exactly 5 months and 850 miles for 2.5+ ounces of OrangeSeal to ooze and dry out. The sidewalls basically never sealed up - they just continued to weep.

I'll probably try to get another 1000 miles out of them and then find something else if I want to continue tubeless.

looks like some is coming out of the spoke holes unless that's just from installation.

Ya, that's just oil from the spoke nipples and then riding the bike through creek crossings. Wheels were new at the same time and I haaaaaaate washing bikes.

from what I understand compass, even the tubeless kind are not the best at tubeless because the sidewalls are too thin, specially the extra light kind.

FWIW, I run my Bon Jon's tubeless with OrangeSeal, and the sidewalls definitely don't look like that.

hmm I emailed them when I first got the tires mounted, they said to let them sit on their sides and the tires would eventually seal up - but they never did, so I assumed they just have very porous sidewalls (standard casing, for what it is worth.)

No weeping on my Snowqualmie Pass standard casing...

Mine dried up in 5-7 days, 100-120F, and around 1000 miles while eventually not holding air requiring thrice per day fillings. Amazing how hard they were to initially mount and then how easy they were to take off the rim. I presume the tires burped air from the loose fit because they held air when not riding. I converted back to tubes on the road in the middle of Wyoming. YMMV.
