OT: mass shooting in vegas

I don't even have the words for this...

the most disappointing part of this is the response of our supposed leader...

'condolences' expressed in 160 characters hardly seem appropriate for this sort of thing.

fellowpicker 10-02-2017 07:39 AM

No, the most disappointing part is that anyone would immediately make it political.

Pales compared to despicable, petty politicization of an unimaginable, horrific tragedy.

Yet another mass shooting in the USA. The most disturbing part... it's become almost routine.

Never would've happened if everyone in the crowd was carrying.

mcteague 10-02-2017 07:45 AM

Just horrible! And, the shooter was in his 60s. It used to be fairly young males who were behind these heinous acts. No idea what this means but, of course, he had access to an arsenal of weapons. Why obsess with terrorists from overseas when we seem perfectly capable of producing more than enough here.

It's a tragedy, don't turn it into a gun control debate/politics either. All we know so far is a crazy person ambushed and killed a bunch of innocent people with an illegal (automatic) firearm/s.

Agree 100% as this is a tragic event and should be treated as such.

Heart aches for those involved. Senseless.
